Our Story

My Story

My name is Christopher Voigt, and I started Traverse Media because I believe every business deserves access to quality marketing — not just the companies with massive budgets or full creative teams.

Over the years, I’ve worked in photography, videography, social media, graphic design, digital ads, email marketing, and brand storytelling across sports, tourism, outdoor recreation, local business, and media. I’ve created content for organizations like Phoenix Rising, GCU Athletics, FC Arizona, Washington Grown, Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area, and the Route of the Hiawatha. That experience taught me how powerful good marketing can be when it’s done with purpose, consistency, and a real understanding of the people behind the brand.

But it also showed me something else: small businesses are often expected to compete in the same fast-moving digital world as bigger brands, without the same time, budget, or resources. Social media changes constantly. Ads get more complicated. Websites need to be updated. Photos, videos, emails, and graphics all matter more than ever. For a small business owner who is already wearing ten different hats, marketing can quickly become overwhelming.

That’s where Traverse Media comes in.

I have a heart for small businesses because I know how much work, risk, and passion goes into building something of your own.
